Střelice
The Moravian Painted Ceramics (or Pottrery) Culture
In the cadastral area of the village of Střelice, there were several Neolithic settlements. I mention two of them, Střelice-Bukovina and Střelice-Klobouček. Both of them yielded Venuses.
The village of Střelice is located (similarly to Hluboké Mašůvky and Těšetice-Kyjovice) in the Znojmo region, (Here is the Wikipedia website on Znojmo.) about 60 km south-west of Brno, by the small town of Jevišovice (about 1,200 inhabitants).
In Jevišovice, there is a chateau (Starý zámek, literally the Old Chateau) with an archaeological exposition. (Starý zámek link can be seen here.) In the chateau, there are also several Neolithic Venuses on display (from the famous František Vildomec’s collection), but unfortunately they can be seen only from afar.
